Police say that officers were called at approximately 11:11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 to the 1000 block of East 20th Street, near the intersection of Kennedy Avenue, where there were reports of a burning body.
At the scene, Baltimore City Fire Department members were able to extinguish the fire, and police said that the remains of an unknown man were found.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the body is being transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and to determine an identification.
The incident remains under investigation.
